Nivea Daily Essentials

Today I'll be reviewing a product I hold very close to my heart, that I stumbled on as if by fate yaddayaddayadda... Seriously, it's really good and I'll think you'll love it, so listen up.

Nivea is one of those brands I've always thought was "good" but never really stopped to think about. I've always been one of those girls who dabbled in loads of different beauty and skincare brands without really deciding to dedicate to one specifically, and I still am to a degree - but Nivea has really made me stand up and pay attention. It all started a couple of months ago, I was in the store looking for a cheap pack of facial wipes, I was in a bit of a rush and didn't really have time to waste reading the small-print and comparing scents. I saw they were doing one of those buy-one-get-one-free offers on "Nivea Daily Essentials Facial Wipes", so I grabbed a pack of 'Fragrance Free' and pack of 'Gentle' and I was on my way.

It wasn't until the next morning that I actually used them (I have to use face wipes every morning after washing my face, it makes you feel so much more awake!) I'd started with the 'Fragrance Free' pack - my skin instantly felt fresher and it really felt like any impurities had been cleaned away with minimum fuss! I loved the 'Fragrance Free' wipes, but my absolute favourite was the 'Gentle' pack. Now I have really sensitive skin, so I have always strayed away from using any lotions and potions, and in a bid to save my pores, I'm also really minimal with my make-up in (I've never worn foundation, although I like the look of it on other women). I don't have particularly dry or oily skin, but I've found that even using the wrong face wipes will make the skin on my cheekbones go dry and red - but I can say in full confidence that I've not had this problem since using Nivea Daily Essentials wipes. Not to mention, the 'Gentle' wipes smell so lovely!

I totally recommend this brand over any other on the facial wipes front - they've got nothing nasty in them, they're alcohol free, and have varying types to suit your personal needs. Big thumbs up from me! If you're interested pop into your local Sainsbury's, Boots or Superdrug (or any beauty/pharmacy store). These wipes should cost you approximately £2.99. However, if you're looking to learn a little bit more about Nivea brand and understand your skin type and the products you should be using first, check out their website here!
